British classics scored respectable results at tonight's Shannons auction. For example a restored 1968 Norton Commando Fastback fetched Au$23,500 (US$18,300, GB£13,000) plus five per cent buyer premium.
A 1954 Manx Norton 500 sold for Au$54,000 (US$42,000, GB£30,000), while a 1949 AJS 7R 350 went for Au$35,500. (US$27,600, GB£19,800)
